Shapes have enjoyed 30 years of successful trading in Scotland’s capital city. Our company has grown to become one of Britain’s largest specialists in high quality domestic and contract furniture made to the highest standards.
Complemented by restoration, French polishing and upholstery workshops, our impressive 50,000 square feet showroom is full of beautiful traditional and contemporary furniture, professionally displayed, in over 40 different room settings awaiting the discerning buyer.
Since relocating our business to Sighthill in 1998, we have managed to transform an old engineering workshop into one of Europe’s finest shops, incorporating an international auction business.
Only one area, the old works canteen and garage remained derelict and it was decided, that, despite being out of town and within an industrial estate, people working in the area and our own customers would welcome a nice place to eat and relax.
So, in november 2001, we were proud owners of a beautiful one hundred seat restaurant comparable with the finest in Edinburgh and we hope that you will take the opportunity to come and see this for yourself.
